Serves 6-8

This is the original that gave rise to so many variations. Love it or hate it, it’s an American original.

Ingredients #

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 14 oz. artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • Salt, Tabasco Sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic salt, etc., to taste

Instructions #

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Season generously to taste with salt, black pepper, Tabasco sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic salt, or whatever else you like. Turn it into a buttered glass pie plate or small baking dish. Broil until hot and bubbly. Serve with crackers.
