No-Cook Pizza Sauce

Makes about 2 1/2 cups

This pizza sauce comes together in a minute, so if you've got pizza dough on hand you can make a homemade pizza almost as quickly as you could make a sandwich.

Ingredients #

  • 4 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (14.5 oz) cans whole or crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sherry vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions #

Blitz the garlic until finely chopped in the blender or processor. Add the remaining ingredients and puree until smooth.

The sauce is ready to use. It can be refrigerated for up to a week, or spoon the sauce into a muffin tin and freeze. Pop the sauce pucks out of the muffin tin and seal them in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
