Smoky and refreshingly bittersweet, this simple cocktail is a favorite at our house in November, when the unsually sweet and delicious grapefruits from the Rio Grande Valley are in season. If you prefer a sweeter Paloma, just add a little simple syrup.
Ingredients #
- Flaky salt for the glass
- 2 oz. silver tequila
- 4 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
- 3 oz. Topo Chico
- 2 lime wedges
Instructions #
Salt the rim of the glass (some prefer to add a pinch of salt to the drink itself instead). Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, and Topo Chico. Squeeze and add the lime wedges. Top off with ice and stir.
